What does a Women´s Health/Pelvic Floor physiotherapist do?
We work with you through behavior modification, education, and prescription exercises to effectively solve your pain and symptoms.
No need to undergo unnecessary surgery or take medications, Physical Therapy is the most natural, cost effective solution.
In Europe women receive compulsory Pelvic Floor Therapy after childbirth, or later in life when faced with incontinence. Women in the US are referred to the Pelvic Floor Therapists whenever there is a problem. Now women everywhere can have the same care.

How can physical therapy help?
Pelvic Floor/ Women's Health Therapists are extensively trained in the United States and routinely undergo examinations and continuing education.
They evaluate and treat joint dysfunction, muscle tightness, weakness or imbalance in muscle groups, and nerve entrapment- all potential signs of pelvic pain. Other treatment strategies may include biofeedback, retraining of incoordinated muscles, postural training, and strengthening of the abdominal core muscles. Bladder issues will be addressed through behavior modifications and desensitization techniques.
